Chelsea Pair Set to Secure Premier League Moves

0

Stamford Bridge duo linked with moves to Selhurst Park and Craven Cottage.

Chelsea are readying to trim their squad with two bit-part player strongly linked with Stamford Bridge exits this month.

Senegal international Demba Ba is way down Jose Mourinho’s striking pecking order and is now being linked with a move to join Crystal Palace according to the Daily Mirror.

The 28 year old forward has struggled to recapture the form that saw him secure a move from Newcastle United to Chelsea a year ago and a move to Selhurst Park, likely to be a temporary one, could well help to hand the Blues marksman some much needed first team football.

Another player in urgent need of regular football is left-back Ryan Bertrand, who has made just one Premier League start this season and was overlooked as Mourinho opted to use right-back Cesar Azpilicueta when Ashley Cole was frozen out of his starting eleven.

Fulham are now looking to land the 24 year old according to the Guardian and the short move to Craven Cottage would probably appeal to the England international who has seen his chances limited under Mourinho.
