'Arsenal fans burning my shirt doesn't bother me', admits Fabregas

New Chelsea signing admits he's not fazed by betrayal comments

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has admitted that he isn't bothered by Arsenal fans burning his shirts and calling him a traitor.
The Spaniard announced on his official Twitter account last week that he has decided to join London-rivals Chelsea, and that decision didn't go down well in North London, as hundreds of disgruntled Gooners took to Twitter to slam the 28-year-old.
Fabregas was once quoted saying he would only ever play for FC Barcelona or Arsenal, and many fans reminded him of that saying, but after Arsene Wenger rejected the chance to sign him back, the Spaniard then chose Stamford Bridge as his next destination.
The news wasn't received well and some fans posted pictures of themselves burning old Arsenal shirts with Fabregas on the back.
When told about the pictures, Fabregas admitted that he wasn't bothered by them and insists that he still remains loyal to his former-club.
"I'm mature enough for that not to hurt," Fabregas told Spanish paper Marca.
"I have explained it well. I've always been very loyal and grateful to Arsenal.
"There was a first option they could exercise, I talked with Arsene Wenger and he told me that the area was covered with Özil, but there is always fans who want to cause trouble."
