Barcelona and Chelsea interested in Koke

Catalans and Blues fighting to sign Atletico midfielder and Manchester United target
Barcelona and Chelsea are both looking to bid for Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke.
Barcelona see the 22 year old as a possible replacement for the departing Cesc Fabregas, but Chelsea are also looking to bring the playmaker to Stamford Bridge as Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his squad.
Koke has been Atletico for his whole career and has played a key role in Atletico's successful season in which they beat both city-rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona to the La Liga title, and also reached the Champions League final, beating Barcelona and Chelsea on the way.

The midfielder only agreed a contract extension with Atletico in January, a contract that should keep him at the club until 2018. He has told Spanish magazine Marca that he is content at the club, despite being flattered by both teams' interest.
He said: "I still haven't had time to read what has come out. I am on holiday and I plan to disconnect.
"Barcelona is one of the best teams in the world and that they are interested in you means that you must be doing something right. That is very nice for a footballer.
"In any case, I only think about keeping working. I want to stay here and everyone knows it. I see myself at Atletico next season."

Liverpool join race for Cesc Fabregas

The Reds join Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea in race for Spaniard
Liverpool have become the latest Premier League side interested in bringing back Cesc Fabregas after he handed in a transfer request at FC Barcelona.
The Reds will challenge; Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United to the Spaniard's signing and will also be willing to match the £30million that the Catalan club want for the 27-year-old midfielder.
The former-Arsenal captain hasn't enjoyed his time at his boyhood club, and after numerous seasons sitting on the bench as a backup to Andres Iniesta, Xavi and Sergio Busquets, it's been suggested that he is ready to leave and come back to England.
Liverpool, Chelsea and United will have a real battle to see off Arsenal, as The Gunners have first refusal on their former-player and would also receive a high percentage of the transfer fee if Barca sell to one of their rivals.
However, Wenger has made it clear that on his wishlist is a right-back, a holding-midfielder and a striker, but would the Frenchman turn down a chance of re-signing his former-captain and the player that he trained from a youth?
Also, when the Spanish midfielder joined Barcelona, he admitted that if he was to ever leave the Catalan club, it would only be back to Arsenal, however, that hasn't put off Jose Mourinho, Louis Van Gaal or Brendan Rodgers.
